Key Responsibilities
1. Field Visits for Loan Recovery
-
Visit customers who have pending housing loan payments at their registered address or business location.

Deliver payment reminders, notices, or follow-up letters as per process.

Collect EMI payments (via digital app, UPI, or receipt-based methods) where applicable.
2. Customer Communication and Counseling
-
Explain loan account details, outstanding balances, and payment terms to customers.

Understand customer concerns or repayment difficulties and offer feasible options under company guidelines.

Educate customers on avoiding defaults and maintaining a good credit history.
3. Documentation and Reporting
-
Record visit outcomes, customer responses, and payment status daily.

Submit reports to the collections team or manager via mobile app, Excel sheets, or MIS tools.

Ensure collection receipts, signatures, and records are properly maintained for audit compliance.
4. Coordination with Internal Teams

Coordinate with the backend team for updated data, payment history, and account status.

Escalate high-risk cases (e.g., untraceable or non-cooperative customers) to the supervisor with supporting documents.

Assist the legal or recovery team in tracing or initiating further action where necessary.
5. Follow Regulatory and Company Protocols

Follow RBI and NBFC guidelines related to respectful and ethical loan recovery practices.

Ensure customer privacy and data confidentiality at all times.

Avoid aggressive or unlawful recovery methods—strict adherence to the organization’s code of conduct.
