Position Summary
A Field Loan Sales Executive is responsible for sourcing potential customers, promoting loan products (such as personal loans, business loans, home loans, and vehicle loans), and converting leads into successful disbursements through direct field visits. This role involves actively approaching individuals, small businesses, or organizations in designated geographic areas, understanding their financial needs, and offering tailored loan solutions.
The Field Loan Sales Executive plays a crucial role in expanding the customer base and driving revenue growth for financial institutions, NBFCs (Non-Banking Financial Companies), or fintech companies. This position suits individuals who are self-driven, persuasive, customer-oriented, and willing to work in dynamic outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation and Client Acquisition

Identify potential customers through cold calls, referrals, field visits, community engagement, and promotional campaigns.

Visit residential areas, markets, offices, and small businesses to generate interest in the company’s loan products.

Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects by consistently sourcing new leads from the field.
2. Product Promotion and Sales

Explain the features, benefits, terms, and eligibility criteria of various loan products, including:

Personal loans

Home loans
-
Loan against property (LAP)

Vehicle or auto loans

Recommend suitable loan products based on the customer’s financial profile, repayment capacity, and needs.

Assist customers in comparing options and making informed decisions.
3. Application Support and Documentation

Help customers fill out loan application forms accurately and completely.

Collect necessary documents such as ID proof, address proof, income statements, business registration, etc.

Ensure all customer data and documents are submitted to the back-office team or uploaded into CRM/loan management systems in a timely manner.

Follow up with clients to provide updates on application status, approvals, or additional document requests.
4. Relationship Management

Build long-term relationships with clients by providing quality service and financial advice.

Act as the primary contact for clients during the loan application and disbursement process.

Handle post-sale queries and maintain regular communication with borrowers to encourage repeat business and cross-selling.
5. Sales Target Achievement

Meet or exceed monthly sales targets set by the branch or regional manager.

Track daily activity (calls, visits, applications submitted, approvals) and report progress to supervisors.

Work collaboratively with tele-calling teams, relationship managers, or field agents to optimize conversion rates.
6. Market Research and Feedback

Stay informed about competitor loan products, interest rates, and customer preferences in the local market.

Share market intelligence and feedback with internal teams to improve offerings and customer experience.

7. Compliance and Ethics
