Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, and test equipment at customer locations.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or electronic faults.
Repair or replace defective components.
Respond promptly to service calls and minimize equipment downtime.
Prepare service reports and maintain maintenance records.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Train customers on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
Coordinate with internal technical and service teams to resolve complex issues.
Maintain spare parts inventory and tools required for field service.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering.
1–5 years of experience in field service or maintenance (experience requirements can vary by role).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
Willingness to travel frequently and work at customer sites.
Good communication and customer handling skills.
Valid driver's license (if required).
Preferred Skills
PLC and automation troubleshooting.
Knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery.
Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
Frequent travel to customer locations.
May require working evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts.
Ability to lift equipment and work in industrial environments.
