Field Marketing Executive
Job Description
Position Summary:
The Field Marketing Executive – IT Services plays a key role in driving customer acquisition, brand visibility, and revenue growth by promoting a wide range of IT products and services directly to businesses. This is a full-time field job that requires visiting potential clients, understanding their business needs, promoting the company’s digital and technology offerings, closing sales, and providing ongoing support to clients.
The candidate will be responsible for both online and offline lead generation, sales execution, and post-sale coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and persuasion skills, basic knowledge of IT services, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting:

Identify and approach potential clients in assigned territories through field visits, cold calling, referrals, social media outreach, and local networking.

Generate qualified leads for IT services such as website development, graphic design, software development, domain & hosting solutions, and business emails.

Maintain a lead database and update status regularly.
2. Client Meetings & Product Pitching:

Schedule and attend face-to-face meetings with potential clients (corporate offices, retailers, SMEs, startups, etc.).

Understand client requirements and pain points to recommend relevant IT services and solutions.

Deliver compelling product presentations and explain the benefits, features, and pricing models of services like:

Website development (static, dynamic, e-commerce)

Customized software development (CRMs, ERPs, billing, inventory systems)

Graphic designing (logos, brochures, digital creatives)
-
Domain name registration & hosting (shared, VPS, cloud)

Business emails and productivity tools

3. Sales Conversion & Deal Closure:

Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements based on client requirements.

Follow up diligently to convert leads into sales and ensure timely payments.

Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets set by the management.
4. Customer Relationship Management:

Build strong and long-term relationships with existing clients for upselling and referrals.

Act as a single point of contact for clients regarding service updates, queries, or technical redirections.

Maintain excellent after-sales service to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
5. Coordination & Support:

Coordinate with the technical team to ensure client requirements are correctly implemented.

Report client issues or feedback to internal teams for resolution or enhancement.

Provide sales support materials like brochures, demo links, price lists, and product samples.
6. Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain daily reports of client visits, leads generated, sales closed, and follow-ups.

Use tools like Excel or CRM systems to track client communications and pipeline progress.

Share weekly/monthly updates with management on performance and market insights.
7. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:

Stay updated on trends in IT services, new products, and competitor offerings.

Collect market feedback to help improve service offerings and pricing strategies.
Required Skills & Competencies:

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills in English and local language for client interaction and product explanation.

Sales Skills: Strong persuasive abilities and a consultative selling approach to close deals effectively.

Basic IT Knowledge: Familiarity with terms like hosting, domain, CMS, software, and graphic formats; ability to explain tech services in simple terms.

Presentation Skills: Confidence to deliver demos and explain services to both tech-savvy and non-tech clients.

Negotiation & Closing: Ability to handle objections, finalize deals, and push for timely decisions.

Time Management: Self-organized with the ability to manage appointments, field visits, and reporting efficiently.

Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and services offered by the company.
