Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Lead Generation

Identify potential customers (individuals or businesses) in the assigned region through cold calls, networking, referrals, and market research.

Create a pipeline of prospective clients and nurture relationships to convert leads into sales.

Conduct market analysis to understand the needs, buying patterns, and preferences of potential customers.

Understand the competitive landscape and position company products/services effectively to differentiate from competitors.
2. Sales Meetings & Presentations
-
Meet with clients in person to present products and services, demonstrating their value and benefits.

Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to key decision-makers.

Understand customer requirements, offer customized solutions, and address any objections or concerns.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and close deals while ensuring client satisfaction.
3. Relationship Management & Client Retention

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and support.

Regularly follow up with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, resolve any issues, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive timely updates, support, and communication.
4. Sales Target Achievement

Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Track daily activities, sales progress, and lead conversion rates to ensure goals are on track.

Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and meet business objectives.
5. Market Feedback & Reporting
-
Gather market intelligence by listening to client feedback, observing industry trends, and monitoring competitor activity.

Provide insights to the sales manager about customer needs, pain points, and opportunities for product or service improvements.

Regularly update the CRM with customer interactions, sales progress, and new leads.

Submit weekly/monthly sales reports detailing sales activities, performance, and forecasts.
6. Territory Management

Manage and prioritize your assigned geographical territory, ensuring effective coverage and maximizing sales opportunities.

Plan daily and weekly routes to optimize travel time, increase face-to-face interactions with potential clients, and improve sales performance.

Maintain detailed records of all client interactions and meetings to ensure organized follow-ups and effective territory management.
7. Product Knowledge & Training

Stay up to date with the company’s product portfolio, new features, pricing, and services to effectively pitch to customers.

Attend regular training sessions and team meetings to sharpen sales skills, product knowledge, and market insights.

Support the sales team by sharing customer feedback and providing input for marketing and product development.
8. Administrative & Reporting Duties

Prepare accurate sales contracts, quotations, and proposals.

Maintain detailed records of sales, customer interactions, and meetings in the CRM system.

Submit sales reports, expense claims, and any necessary documentation on time to ensure smooth operations.
