Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Achieving sales targets
  • Appointing new dealers
  • Generating orders for Agri Inputs (Seeds, Pesticides, Fertilizers, Sprayers, Equipment, Machinery etc)
  • Collecting Subscription from Dealers for Listing Product Offers For Farmer Application
  • Meeting farmers and downloading farmer app on their phone
  • Promoting Dealer Inventory to Farmers

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Street Smart person from the local community who is well networked with dealers and farmers from the district.
  • Should be good with new technology, be it mobile apps or web portal.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in the district, preferably in Agricultural or Agritech sales
  • Agriculture diploma or any graduation
  • 2 wheeler driving license

'DestaGlobal is an Agri-Tech and e-commerce company based in Mumbai. We are running a B2B e-commerce platform for the last 4 years. Dealers (2000+) can purchase all kinds of agri products from the registered Ag Manufacturers (100+) on our platform. 
We launched our e-commerce extension to the farmer few months back. The mobile app, Siddhi Kisan, is helping farmers save on their farm input cost. Nearly 75,000 farmers from across Maharashtra are using our farmer application. They are using this app to discover dealers near them, find offers on products they need to buy, and network with fellow farmers. 
We launched the mobile app for our dealers a few weeks back. This application allows dealers to promote products from their shops to farmers around them. This DIY app, Siddhi Dealer, also gives insights to the dealer about the market and customers with the objective of helping them grow their customer base and take the right business decisions.
The dealer app and the farmer app works in sync with each other. Our application for dealer helps them promote the products on their shelf to farmers around them.  The farmers can then book the product against a dealer. This booking is received as an enquiry/ order to the dealer which he can fulfil by reaching out to the farmer. Otherwise, the farmer can also ‘find’ the dealer’s location and ‘reach’ him on phone or the visit the shop.”
