Job Description: Business Development Executive (BDE)

Location: Bengaluru/Mysuru
Employment Type: Full-Time
Role Objective
To drive business growth through strategic lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue realization. The BDE will manage IT security product portfolios, coordinate hardware deliveries, and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and customers to ensure seamless execution of sales operations and achievement of targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Generation & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across assigned product lines and customer segments.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue per account.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure timely closure of deals.
2. Lead Generation & Cold Calling
- Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and field visits.
- Maintain lead databases, track conversion metrics, and schedule meetings with decision-makers.
- Collaborate with marketing teams for campaign execution and lead nurturing.
3. IT Security Product Handling
- Develop product knowledge across IT security solutions (e.g., Fortinet, Sophos, etc.) and understand client requirements.
- Coordinate with pre-sales and technical teams for solution design and proposal preparation.
- Stay updated on product certifications, pricing models, and competitive positioning.
4. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through regular engagement and support.
- Address customer queries, manage escalations, and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, proposals, and feedback in CRM systems.
5. Hardware Delivery Coordination
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of hardware.
- Track shipments, manage delivery schedules, and resolve delivery-related issues.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance for all hardware transactions.
6. OEM & Distributor Interaction
- Engage with OEMs for product updates, deal registrations, and technical support.
- Interact with distributors to negotiate pricing, check stock status, and finalize commercial terms.
- Maintain updated price lists, margin structures, and promotional offers.
7. Order Loading & Execution
- Load confirmed orders into ERP/CRM systems with accurate product codes, pricing, and delivery terms.
- Monitor order execution lifecycle from PO to invoicing and dispatch.
- Coordinate with finance and operations teams for billing, payment follow-ups, and documentation.
