Looking for Field sales Executive with 2-4 years of experience in field sales

  • Product related Field sales to a retail shop, canteens, coffee shops, or caterers/restaurants of bakery products from main kitchen
  • Immediate joiners are preferred
  • Willing to move around to field to pitch the sales and convert the sales to achieve the sales target every month
  • Attractive salary plus incentives per month

Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Field Sales Executive to join our growing team. The role involves product-related field sales of fresh and packaged bakery items (such as breads, buns, cookies, cakes, pastries, snacks, etc.) produced in the central kitchen. You will be responsible for promoting and selling these products to retail shops, canteens, coffee shops, caterers, and restaurants in your assigned area.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of field sales operations, be customer-focused, and possess excellent relationship-building skills. This is a client-facing role that requires daily visits to customers, taking orders, ensuring product visibility, and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Field Sales & Business Development:

  • Visit retail outlets, canteens, cafes, bakeries, hotels, restaurants, and caterers daily to promote and sell products.

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities within assigned territory.

  • Demonstrate product features, provide samples when needed, and encourage bulk or recurring orders.

2. Order Management & Coordination:

  • Take daily orders from customers and ensure they are communicated accurately to the production or dispatch team.

  • Coordinate delivery schedules with the logistics or kitchen team to ensure timely order fulfillment.

  • Follow up with customers to confirm delivery and gather feedback.

3. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.

  • Resolve customer queries, complaints, or concerns professionally and promptly.

  • Educate customers on new products, promotions, and seasonal items.

4. Product Promotion and Market Visibility:

  • Ensure that the products are well-displayed at retail counters or food outlets.

  • Place marketing materials like brochures, posters, and samples where applicable.

  • Keep customers informed about product freshness, expiry dates, and storage requirements.

5. Sales Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain a daily record of customer visits, orders placed, and payments collected.

  • Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager.

  • Track and report competitor activity, pricing, and market feedback.

6. Collections and Payments:

  • Follow up with customers for timely payments based on credit terms.

  • Issue invoices, collect payments (cash, cheque, or online) where applicable.

  • Ensure proper documentation and safe handling of collected amounts.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Sales and Negotiation Skills: Ability to confidently pitch products, handle objections, and close sales.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills in local language and basic English.

  • Customer Focused: Willingness to serve and build long-term relationships.

  • Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of bakery products and food safety standards.

  • Time Management: Ability to plan daily routes and manage multiple customer visits efficiently.

  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and meet targets with minimal supervision.
