Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Field Sales Executive to drive sales of industrial pipe fittings and valves. The role involves identifying potential clients, conducting field visits, building strong relationships with contractors, OEMs, and distributors, and achieving sales targets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and meet clients in assigned territory
  • Promote and sell pipe fittings, valves, and related products
  • Develop strong relationships with decision-makers

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales and Business Development

    • Identify new business opportunities by researching prospects, qualifying leads, and conducting field visits.

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

    • Generate sales through cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and direct field visits.

    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for prospective clients, tailored to their specific business needs.

  2. Territory Management

    • Manage an assigned sales territory efficiently, ensuring maximum coverage of the area.

    • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands the customer base within the assigned region.

    • Schedule and attend client meetings, site visits, and sales events regularly to build rapport and trust with clients.

  3. Target Achievement

    • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by management.

    • Monitor own performance against targets and make adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.

    • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions using CRM software.

  4. Market Intelligence

    • Conduct market analysis to understand customer trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product performance.

    • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams about customer needs and preferences.

    • Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge in the field.

  5. Customer Relationship Management

    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers in your region, providing pre-sales and post-sales support.

    • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.

    • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service and maintaining regular follow-ups.

  6. Reporting and Documentation

    • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales activities, territory performance, and client feedback.

    • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and strategies to senior management.

    • Maintain accurate records of all sales transactions and customer interactions.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Field Sales Executive or similar sales role..

  • Strong understanding of sales principles, negotiation tactics, and business development strategies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

  • Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and mobile sales tools.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

  • Experience with territory management and structured sales methodologies.

  • Multilingual abilities.
