Job Description

1. Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Identify new prospects and convert leads into customers through field visits.

  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

  • Promote and sell products/services to customers through in-person visits.

  • Prepare and deliver customized sales pitches and product presentations.

  • Negotiate pricing, delivery, and other terms with customers as needed.

2. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Build long-term relationships with retailers, dealers, distributors, or end consumers depending on the sales model (B2B or B2C).

  • Provide product demonstrations and answer customer questions.

  • Resolve complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction before and after the sale.

3. Market Research and Intelligence:

  • Collect and analyze market information, competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer feedback.

  • Identify gaps in the market and recommend solutions for improvement.

  • Maintain awareness of new product launches, promotions, and offers in the market.

4. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities, leads generated, meetings conducted, and outcomes.

  • Use CRM or mobile apps for reporting sales data and updating customer details.

  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to the sales manager.

5. Promotional Activities and Events:

  • Participate in on-ground promotional events, trade shows, roadshows, or product demos as needed.

  • Distribute marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, or samples to attract customers.

  • Work closely with marketing teams to execute campaigns effectively.

6. Team Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with backend operations, logistics, marketing, and finance teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer service.

  • Share feedback and learnings with team members to improve the collective performance.

  • Attend daily or weekly sales huddles, training sessions, and review meetings.
