Field Sales Executive
Job Description
A Field Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales, building customer relationships, and expanding the market presence of the company’s door and cabinet hardware products. This role involves directly meeting dealers, retailers, contractors, carpenters, and customers across Kerala, understanding their requirements, and ensuring product availability through effective sales and distribution.
As a front-line representative of the company, the Field Sales Executive plays a key role in promoting products, increasing revenue, and strengthening brand visibility in the highly competitive hardware industry. Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Promote and sell door and cabinet hardware products to dealers, retailers, and direct customers.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the company.

Identify and tap into new market opportunities within assigned territories.

Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.

Market Coverage & Customer Visits

Regularly visit dealers, hardware shops, showrooms, and carpenters to build strong relationships.

Expand customer base by approaching potential retailers and distributors.

Ensure product availability across multiple locations in Kerala.

Customer Relationship Management

Maintain excellent rapport with existing customers to secure repeat orders.

Provide after-sales support by addressing customer queries and complaints.

Educate customers about new product launches, features, and offers.

Order Booking & Coordination

Collect orders from retailers and dealers and coordinate with the distribution team.

Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.

Follow up on payments and outstanding dues.

Market Intelligence

Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.

Share customer feedback with the management team for product improvement.

Provide insights to help design promotional schemes and discounts.

Reporting & Documentation

Submit daily/weekly sales reports to management.

Maintain updated records of customers, sales, and collections.

Track territory performance and suggest growth strategies.

Educational Qualification & Experience

1–3+ years of experience in hardware, construction materials, FMCG, or building materials sales is an added advantage.
