Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:

Identify and approach potential customers through cold calling, door-to-door visits, and local networking.

Present, promote, and sell products or services to prospective customers.

Demonstrate product features and benefits to clients and address queries or objections effectively.

Convert leads into confirmed sales and follow up on prospects to maintain interest.
2. Client Relationship Management:

Develop strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.

Understand client requirements and suggest appropriate products/services.

Handle post-sales communication, including service feedback and complaints, and escalate when necessary.

Maintain client contact records and track communication history using CRM tools or sales logs.
3. Target Achievement:

Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by management.

Track personal performance against key KPIs such as conversion rates, revenue generated, and number of visits.

Implement upselling and cross-selling techniques to increase average order value.
4. Market Research and Competitor Analysis:

Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.

Collect feedback from the field to help improve products, pricing, and marketing strategies.

Suggest territory-specific promotional offers or marketing activities to boost sales.
5. Reporting and Documentation:

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on client visits, sales closures, and market intelligence.

Keep accurate records of all customer interactions, order details, and payment status.

Use tools like spreadsheets, CRMs, or mobile sales apps to document activities and outcomes.
6. Payment Follow-ups:

Coordinate with clients to ensure timely payments as per agreed terms.

Share invoices and payment receipts and resolve payment-related queries.

Liaise with the accounts team to monitor outstanding balances.
7. Coordination with Internal Teams:

Work closely with the supply chain, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Share client-specific requirements with the production or product team.

Attend internal meetings, product training sessions, and review discussions as needed.
