Job Description
_Salary:_ ₹21,000/month (Fixed)
*Job Summary:*Acquire new merchants, promote Paytm services, and provide excellent customer service.
*Key Duties:*
- Acquire new merchants
*Targets:*
- 30 new merchants/month- 30 Soundboxes/month- 200 revisits/month
*Requirements:*
- Strong sales & communication skills- Independent work- Sales process knowledge- Meet targets & deadlines

Key Responsibilities:
1. Merchant Acquisition:

Identify potential merchants in the field and onboard them to Paytm's ecosystem (Paytm QR, Soundbox, EDC/POS, and Wallet).

Visit retail outlets, local shops, and vendors to pitch and sell Paytm’s suite of payment solutions.

Explain product features, benefits, and how Paytm’s solutions help streamline payments and business management.

Assist merchants with documentation, registration, and account activation.
2. Relationship Building:

Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to encourage long-term engagement.

Act as a point of contact for merchants in your territory, resolving issues and ensuring smooth product usage.

Promote the adoption of additional products like Paytm Soundbox, Fastag, and loans after onboarding.
3. Achieving Sales Targets:

Meet daily, weekly, and monthly acquisition and sales targets set by the team lead or area manager.

Track performance metrics, number of merchant visits, installations, activations, and transactions.
4. Field Reporting and CRM Updates:

Maintain accurate records of merchant visits, installations, and feedback.

Use Paytm’s internal sales and CRM tools to report daily activity and progress.

Provide market insights, competitor feedback, and suggestions to improve product penetration and performance.
5. Market Research and Competitor Analysis:

Stay updated on digital payment trends and competitor offerings.

Identify gaps and opportunities in your assigned area to maximize merchant acquisition and retention.
6. Product Training & Promotion:

Educate merchants on how to use Paytm’s products effectively.

Conduct live demos, training sessions, and troubleshooting for basic tech-related queries.

Promote new features, upgrades, and campaigns launched by Paytm to increase usage and loyalty.
