Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
-
Identify and research potential clients in targeted industries such as corporates, education institutions, hospitals, hotels, IT parks, and government organizations.

Develop and qualify leads through cold calling, referrals, networking events, LinkedIn, and market visits.

Build a strong pipeline of prospects and maintain a funnel of active sales opportunities.
2. Client Engagement & Consultative Selling
-
Conduct face-to-face meetings with key decision-makers (IT managers, purchase heads, facility teams, CXOs).

Understand client requirements for video conferencing, collaboration tools, presentation technologies, and room integration.

Demonstrate products or collaborate with pre-sales/technical teams for demos and presentations.

Offer customized solutions based on client needs, budget, and infrastructure compatibility.
3. Quotation, Negotiation & Deal Closure
-
Prepare and present proposals, technical documentation, and pricing quotes.
-
Negotiate commercial terms, manage objections, and close orders efficiently.

Ensure all sales documentation, contracts, and purchase orders are processed accurately and on time.
4. Account Management & After-Sales Support
-
Maintain regular contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and explore upselling or cross-selling opportunities.

Coordinate with service/support teams to ensure timely installation, training, and after-sales support.

Build long-term relationships with key accounts for recurring business.
5. Market Intelligence & Reporting
-
Stay updated with industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings in the IT hardware and AV solutions space.

Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and updates to the Sales Manager or Regional Head.

Suggest product improvements or marketing ideas based on customer feedback.
