Job Summary:

The Field Sales Executive is a vital link between the company and its customers. The candidate is expected to thoroughly understand the company’s products and services, actively engage potential customers, onboard them efficiently, and maintain strong client relationships to drive business growth. This role involves direct interaction with customers in the field, ensuring that their needs are met while aligning with the company’s objectives.

The ideal candidate should be proactive, customer-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a core team committed to achieving organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Engagement and Acquisition

  • Understand the features, benefits, and applications of company products/services thoroughly.

  • Identify potential customers through research, referrals, or assigned territories.

  • Approach prospects confidently to explain the product/service offerings and onboard them.

  • Demonstrate the value proposition clearly to help customers make informed decisions.

2. Onboarding and Relationship Management

  • Guide new customers through the onboarding process ensuring a smooth and positive experience.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients to address queries, provide support, and strengthen relationships.

  • Follow up consistently to encourage repeat business and referrals.

3. Achieving Sales Targets

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the management.

  • Track sales activities and report progress regularly.

  • Use feedback and market insights to adjust sales strategies and maximize success.

4. Market Research and Reporting

  • Gather market intelligence on competitor offerings, pricing, and customer preferences.

  • Identify emerging trends and customer needs to inform product development and marketing.

  • Provide detailed reports on sales activities, client feedback, and market conditions to the management.

5. Team Collaboration and Alignment

  • Work closely with the core team to align field activities with company goals.

  • Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on product changes and sales techniques.

  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members to enhance overall performance.

6. Compliance and Professionalism

  • Adhere to company policies, code of conduct, and ethical sales practices.

  • Ensure all documentation related to sales and customer onboarding is accurately maintained.

  • Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions and public engagements.

Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields is advantageous.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, or customer service roles preferred.

  • Experience in field sales or direct customer engagement is a strong plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools and mobile applications for sales tracking.

  • Ability to use smartphones and other digital tools for communication and reporting.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
