Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Field Sales Executive – Power Tools Marketing to promote and sell our range of power tools across Rajasthan. This field-based role requires traveling to different locations (industrial areas, hardware markets, construction sites, workshops, dealers, and retailers) to generate leads, build relationships, close sales, and promote brand awareness.

The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in industrial tools, hardware, or construction-related products, along with strong communication skills, negotiation abilities, and a result-driven attitude. This is an exciting opportunity to be on the front line of a growing industry and work with well-known brands in the power tools segment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Development & Lead Generation

  • Visit assigned territories across Rajasthan to identify potential customers including:

    • Retailers and hardware shops

    • Construction companies and contractors

    • Fabricators, carpenters, and workshops

    • Distributors and stockists

  • Generate new business leads through cold visits, referrals, and market mapping.

  • Promote the company’s portfolio of power tools and accessories to potential buyers.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.

  • Regularly follow up with dealers, influencers, and B2B clients to ensure continued engagement.

  • Address client inquiries, product-related doubts, and service concerns promptly and professionally.

3. Product Demonstration & Technical Support

  • Conduct on-site product demos and highlight features, durability, and usage benefits of tools like:

    • Drilling machines, grinders, cutters, hammers, saws, screwdrivers, etc.

  • Educate customers on proper usage, safety practices, and maintenance of tools.

  • Coordinate with technical or service teams for after-sales support if required.

4. Sales Target Achievement

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned.

  • Track and report individual performance in terms of daily visits, leads, orders, and revenue.

  • Use sales strategies to convert enquiries into sales and negotiate effectively.

5. Distribution & Dealer Network Management

  • Support the development of dealer/distributor networks in untapped or underdeveloped markets.

  • Collect orders from retail partners, monitor stock levels, and coordinate delivery schedules.

  • Act as a communication bridge between the company and retailers for schemes, offers, or pricing updates.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of visits, customer interactions, quotations, sales orders, and feedback.

  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports to the Sales Manager.

  • Use CRM tools, spreadsheets, or mobile apps to log market activity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Minimum 12th pass; Diploma or Graduate in Commerce, Marketing, or Engineering preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Preferred minimum years of experience in field sales, preferably in power tools, hardware, electrical equipment, construction products, or industrial consumables.

    • Freshers with strong motivation and good communication skills may also apply.

  • Product Knowledge:

    • Understanding of power tools and their applications in construction, fabrication, woodworking, or industry is an advantage.

  • Sales Skills:

    • Strong verbal communication in Hindi, English, and local Rajasthani dialects (optional).

    • Negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills to deal with shopkeepers, contractors, and influencers.

    • Ability to convert product features into customer benefits during demos.

  • Other Skills:

    • Basic computer and mobile app usage (Excel, WhatsApp, CRM tools)

    • Comfortable with road travel within assigned areas

    • Time management, route planning, and daily reporting discipline
