Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Field Sales Executive to join our growing sales team. This role involves working directly in the field to generate leads, meet customers, present products or services, and close sales deals. The ideal candidate should be confident, persuasive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The Field Sales Executive is responsible for understanding the needs of potential customers, educating them about the company’s offerings, and ensuring a smooth sales process. This is a performance-based role with great earning potential and opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation and Prospecting

  • Identify potential customers through market visits, cold calling, referrals, and local networking.

  • Visit shops, businesses, residential areas, offices, or other relevant locations to promote products or services.

  • Distribute marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and samples where applicable.

2. Sales Presentation and Conversion

  • Meet prospects in person to understand their needs and offer customized product/service solutions.

  • Conduct demonstrations or explain features, benefits, and pricing structures in a clear, persuasive manner.

  • Handle customer questions, objections, and concerns with professionalism.

  • Follow up regularly with leads to convert inquiries into successful sales.

3. Relationship Management

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

  • Provide after-sales service and support as needed to maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Keep in touch with past clients to upsell or introduce new offerings.

4. Target Achievement

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as assigned by the manager.

  • Maintain high conversion rates from lead generation to final sale.

  • Track and report performance metrics on a regular basis.

5. Territory Management

  • Plan and manage route or territory effectively to maximize coverage and productivity.

  • Maintain a daily visit log, track appointments, and record customer interactions.

  • Keep up-to-date with market trends, competition, and local developments.

6. Reporting and Documentation

  • Update CRM or designated tracking tools with accurate sales data, customer information, and field feedback.

  • Submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports to the team leader or sales manager.

  • Collect and submit required documents (orders, forms, contracts) in a timely and organized manner.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Persuasive, confident, and customer-focused.

    • Basic understanding of sales techniques and customer service principles.

    • Ability to use smartphones, apps, and GPS for reporting and navigation.

    • Time management and self-motivation to work independently in the field.

  • Additional Requirements:

    • Must be comfortable working outdoors and traveling daily.

    • A two-wheeler with a valid driving license is preferred.

    • Must own a smartphone for daily reporting and communication.

    • Local language fluency is mandatory; basic English is an added advantage.
