Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Field Sales Executive to join our sales team, specializing in scientific and laboratory equipment. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate leads, visit potential clients (such as laboratories, research institutions, universities, hospitals, and industrial clients), demonstrate product capabilities, and close sales. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for field-based sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Visits & Lead Generation

Regularly visit research labs, academic institutions, testing centers, diagnostic labs, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and industrial labs.

Identify potential clients and decision-makers, and develop new business opportunities.

Generate leads through fieldwork, cold calls, referrals, and industry networking.
2. Product Demonstration & Consultation
-
Explain the features and technical specifications of various scientific/laboratory instruments (e.g., microscopes, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, analyzers).

Provide in-depth product demonstrations tailored to the client's needs and applications.

Offer technical consultation to help customers choose the right products based on their requirements.
3. Sales Process & Target Achievement

Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients within approved guidelines.

Prepare and submit quotations, tenders, and proposals.

Follow up regularly to convert leads into sales and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.

Close sales deals and ensure timely collection of payments.
4. Relationship Management
-
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

Act as a single point of contact for after-sales support coordination (with internal service teams).

Maintain customer satisfaction and seek repeat or referral business.
5. Reporting & Coordination
-
Maintain detailed records of client visits, follow-ups, and sales performance in CRM or reporting tools.

Submit daily/weekly activity reports and updates to the regional sales manager.

Provide market feedback on competitor products, pricing, and industry trends.

Coordinate with the logistics and service team for smooth product delivery and installation.
