Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
-
Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with company objectives.
-
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
-
Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the team and self.
-
Plan and allocate territory-wise targets and ensure balanced coverage across regions.
2. Team Management and Leadership:
-
Recruit, train, and lead a team of field sales executives or representatives.
-
Assign responsibilities and monitor performance using KPIs (visits, conversions, revenue).

Conduct regular meetings (online or in-person) to track progress, address challenges, and keep the team motivated.

Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
3. Field Sales Execution:
-
Visit clients and key accounts regularly to build relationships, close deals, and identify customer needs.

Participate in product demos, site visits, and field activations.
-
Ensure sales team members are conducting effective client visits and accurately representing the brand.

Travel frequently within the assigned territory or city cluster to manage field operations.
4. Remote Sales Support:

Manage CRM tools to track sales activities, lead status, and pipeline.

Follow up with leads via email, phone, or video calls when on the remote side of the role.

Coordinate virtually with internal teams such as marketing, customer success, and operations.

Prepare and share remote reports and dashboards to management.
5. Business Development and Client Acquisition:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through field research and networking.

Develop partnerships, B2B collaborations, or channel networks where applicable.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with customers or distributors.
6. Relationship Management and Retention:

Nurture relationships with key clients, distributors, dealers, or retailers to encourage repeat business.

Resolve client issues or complaints promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.

Stay in touch with existing customers to upsell or cross-sell relevant products or services.
7. Reporting and Analysis:

Maintain detailed records of sales metrics, customer interactions, and team performance.

Generate weekly/monthly sales reports and present insights to senior management.

Track sales funnel health, conversion ratios, and forecast future performance.
