Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement effective field sales strategies to increase the company’s market share and achieve sales targets.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and plans based on territory potential.

Set and monitor performance goals for the sales team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
2. Team Leadership & Supervision:
-
Recruit, train, and manage a team of field sales executives or representatives.

Regularly conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and provide coaching and support to improve team effectiveness.

Schedule and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly field activities to ensure maximum productivity.

Motivate and drive the team to exceed performance metrics including lead generation, sales conversions, and revenue goals.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners.

Attend customer meetings and support executives in handling high-value or complex negotiations.

Ensure customer feedback is captured and used to improve product offerings or sales approaches.

Address and resolve any client concerns or escalations promptly and professionally.
4. Territory & Market Development:

Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.

Oversee coverage of geographic areas and ensure each territory is managed effectively.

Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to support field campaigns, promotions, and brand visibility efforts.

Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and local promotional events when required.
5. Reporting & Documentation:

Track team performance using CRM tools or sales dashboards; ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Maintain detailed records of client interactions, territory activities, and closed deals.

Analyze sales data to assess performance and recommend improvements in strategy or operations.
6. Coordination with Internal Teams:

Work closely with logistics, inventory, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and delivery timelines.

Coordinate with finance and accounts departments for client billing, payments, and credit approvals.

Provide valuable insights to product development teams based on field feedback and market demand.
