Job Summary
A Field Sales Officer is responsible for generating sales by directly interacting with customers, visiting potential clients, and promoting products or services. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong persuasion abilities, and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, meeting people, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and visit potential customers to promote and sell products/services.
- Demonstrate product features and explain benefits to clients.
- Generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide after-sales support.
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
3. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
- Gather insights on customer preferences, market trends, and competitor strategies.
- Suggest improvements based on customer feedback and market demands.
- Provide reports on sales performance and market conditions.
4. Sales Targets & Reporting
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and field visits.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports to the management.
5. Coordination & Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute sales campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products/services.
- Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and company events.
