Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Installation and Commissioning
-
Install new sanitary napkin vending machines and incinerators at customer sites.

Conduct functional testing to ensure proper operation after installation.

Train site staff on the basic use and safety guidelines of the machines.

Operation Monitoring
-
Ensure all vending machines and incinerators are functioning optimally.
-
Perform operational checks to detect issues early and prevent breakdowns.
-
Monitor usage patterns and report any irregularities or misuse.
-

Preventive Maintenance
-
Follow a scheduled preventive maintenance plan for all installed machines.
-
Clean internal and external parts to prevent dust or moisture damage.
-
Lubricate moving parts, tighten loose connections, and check sensors and control systems.
-

Breakdown Repairs and Troubleshooting
-
Attend service calls for malfunctioning machines on priority.
-
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or electronic faults.
-
Replace faulty components such as motors, heating elements, fuses, timers, or control boards.

Inventory and Spare Parts Management
-
Maintain adequate stock of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
-
Coordinate with the stores or procurement team for timely replenishment.
-
Maintain a record of parts used and submit consumption reports.

Customer Interaction and Support

Address customer complaints professionally and promptly.
-
Provide guidance on proper machine usage and minor troubleshooting steps.
-
Share feedback from customers with management to improve product design and service.

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate service logs, including site visits, maintenance work done, and parts replaced.

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly service reports to the Service Manager.
-
Document any repeated issues for further analysis by the technical team.

Safety Compliance

Follow electrical and mechanical safety protocols during maintenance and repairs.
-
Ensure all machines comply with fire safety norms, especially incinerators.
-
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required during work.

Route Planning and Time Management

Plan daily routes to cover assigned locations efficiently.
-
Manage time effectively to handle multiple service calls in a day.
-
Prioritize emergency breakdown calls without neglecting routine maintenance.
-

Collaboration with Teams
-
Coordinate with manufacturing or R&D teams to report recurring defects.
-
Work with the customer service department for follow-up calls.
-
Support the sales team by providing technical assistance during product demonstrations.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and basic electronics.
Ability to read technical diagrams and service manuals.
Hands-on experience with tools and testing equipment.
