You will be part of a Global Finance team which oversees a group of entities and ensures quality month end closing. This position is required to perform any task within Accounts payable and GL accounting for bank, accruals and fixed assets. He/She will also involve in process improvement projects and assisting the team on statutory and tax compliances related reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices submitted by various departments and validating the invoices against the supporting documents
• Process and validating and staff claims reimbursement timely. Ensure claims submitted are approved and supported with proper supporting documents
• Handling month end accounting close activities - 
• Accounting of GST & TDS transactions
• Bank accounting in recording bank transactions and preparing Bank Reconciliation
• Expense accruals, Fixed assets and prepayment accounting 
• Assisting in India payroll compliance tasks
• Assist in Statutory Audit, Tax Audit and Transfer Pricing Audit
• Performing General Ledger Analysis on a monthly basis, highlighting inconsistencies and initiating corrective action
• Preparing Balance Sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Assist the team on payroll compliances tasks and other statutory reporting 
• Involve in Accounting projects/initiatives to drive process improvements
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position (prior experience in a Shared Services Centre Account payables function would be appreciated)
• Experience working in a Information Technology environment or in public accounting firm will be an added advantage
• Demonstrates initiative, a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong knowledge in Tax (TDS & GST) and in accounting GAAP (IFRS)
• Ability to work independently, a team player and good communication skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft excel 
• Knowledge in accounting software Quickbooks
• Global skillsets. Prior experience working in a multi-cultural environment (ie Multinational company).

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Preferred: Qualified CPA
