Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Finance Executive to join our finance team. The Finance Executive will support financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and compliance processes. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in the preparation of financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring adherence to accounting and tax regulations.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of financial principles and accounting practices, be comfortable working with numbers, and possess strong organizational and analytical skills. The Finance Executive will be a key player in supporting the company’s financial decision-making by providing clear insights and timely data.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting and Analysis

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Analyze financial performance and assist in identifying trends, variances, and key insights.

Support senior management in financial planning and decision-making by providing accurate data and forecasts.

Assist with financial modeling and budgeting for different departments.
2. Accounting and Bookkeeping

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and resolve discrepancies as needed.

Monitor general ledger entries and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting

Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with relevant teams.

Track actual expenses against budgets and report any deviations or overspending.

Help develop cost control measures and financial efficiencies across the organization.
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable
-
Process supplier invoices, verify expenses, and prepare payment schedules.

Follow up with customers for outstanding receivables and maintain the aging report.

Ensure timely disbursement of payments and proper documentation.

Coordinate with internal departments and vendors for payment and invoice-related queries.
5. Taxation and Compliance
-
Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns (GST, TDS, income tax, etc.).

Ensure timely payments of taxes and compliance with statutory obligations.

Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as needed.

Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial inspections.
6. Internal Controls and Audits

Support the implementation and monitoring of internal financial controls.

Prepare reports and documentation required for internal and external audits.

Address auditor queries and support the resolution of audit observations.
7. System and Process Support

Utilize accounting software (such as Tally, SAP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Oracle ERP) for financial recordkeeping.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial transactions.

Recommend improvements to financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
