Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Invoicing & Ledger Management: Raise client invoices accurately and on time using Stripe. Maintain dedicated Excel ledgers for multiple clients to keep records organized and visible.
Bookkeeping & Reconciliations: Support day-to-day accounting operations, including drafting journal entries, bookkeeping, and performing regular bank reconciliations.
Payment Follow-ups: Consistently follow up with clients and vendors via professional reminders to ensure timely payment confirmations and resolve discrepancies.
GST Compliance Support: Assist with monthly GST compliance by verifying invoice accuracy, tracking Input Tax Credit (ITC), and supporting the filing process (including CGST, SGST, and IGST calculations).
Client & Vendor Communication: Address queries regarding billing, invoicing, or GST with clarity, confidence, and professionalism.
Reporting & Team Support: Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for internal review. Assist founders with ad-hoc finance tasks, audits, and documentation as needed.
