Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Financial Reconciliation & Analysis
Assist in performing daily/monthly financial reconciliations across multiple data
sources (bank statements, internal ledgers, payment platforms, etc.).
Identify discrepancies, unmatched transactions, and missing records, and
escalate unresolved issues.
Support the finance team in analyzing open items, aged transactions, and data
inconsistencies.
✅ SQL & Data Management
Write basic to intermediate SQL queries to extract and validate financial data.
Work with large datasets and ensure accuracy and consistency in reconciliation
reports.
Support automation efforts by organizing structured financial data for analysis.
✅ Accounting Entry Reconciliation
Perform daily/monthly reconciliation of accounting entries across ledgers, bank
statements, and financial systems.
Identify and resolve discrepancies, missing entries, and incorrect postings in
accounting records.
Support reconciliation of general ledger (GL) accounts, bank transactions,
vendor payments, and receivables.
✅ Reporting & Documentation
Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports for senior
management.
Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to
reconciliation processes.
Support team members in documenting reconciliation workflows and process
improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
�� Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
�� Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY, etc.).
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas) for financial
analysis.
Familiarity with financial reconciliation concepts (matching transactions, variance
analysis, etc.).
Exposure to database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.) is a plus.

High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
Eagerness to learn and grow in finance and data analytics.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
