Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Advisor Sales team with customer service, conducting market research, generating leads, and participating in sales meetings.
- Additional duties include providing support during the sales process, preparing sales materials, and participating in training sessions to develop sales skills.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Prospecting & Lead Generation

Identify and generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, walk-ins, or digital outreach.

Attend marketing campaigns, financial planning seminars, and community events to engage potential clients.

Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective customers to introduce the concept of insurance planning.
2. Financial Needs Assessment
-
Understand and analyze clients’ financial goals, income, risk profile, and future needs.

Conduct thorough financial planning discussions to assess life protection, health coverage, investment, retirement, and child education requirements.

Customize insurance solutions accordingly, ensuring product suitability.
3. Insurance Product Recommendation
-
Recommend appropriate insurance products including:

Life insurance (term, endowment, ULIPs, whole life)

Health insurance and critical illness plans
-
Personal accident and disability coverage
-
Child education plans, retirement/pension plans, annuities
-

Explain policy features, premium structure, benefits, terms and conditions clearly to clients.
4. Sales Closure & Documentation
-
Assist clients in choosing the best policy based on their preferences and financial objectives.

Complete application and documentation processes efficiently and accurately.
-
Submit proposals to the insurer and follow up until issuance of the policy.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies during the sales process.
5. Post-Sales Service & Client Relationship Management
-
Provide continuous support to policyholders for premium payments, policy renewals, updates, claims, and queries.

Maintain regular contact with clients to review policies and suggest upgrades or new plans based on life events or financial changes.

Handle grievances and coordinate with the insurer’s back-office or claims team when needed.
6. Business Development & Sales Targets
-
Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales and revenue targets as assigned by management.

Track sales performance, pipeline status, and customer feedback using CRM tools or reports.

Contribute to branch sales growth through active participation in promotions and campaigns.
