Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable, proactive, and client-focused Financial Advisor to guide individuals or businesses in making sound financial decisions. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing client needs, offering strategic advice, and recommending suitable financial products and services such as investments, insurance, mutual funds, retirement plans, and tax-saving instruments.
As a Financial Advisor, your goal is not only to grow client portfolios and protect their assets but also to establish long-term relationships built on trust and consistent performance. You will play a vital role in helping clients meet both short-term financial needs and long-term wealth-building goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Consultation & Financial Planning

Meet with clients (virtually or in person) to understand their financial goals, income, expenses, and risk tolerance

Conduct in-depth financial assessments and gather relevant data from clients

Develop personalized financial plans that include investment, insurance, savings, and tax strategies

Recommend products that align with the client’s objectives and risk appetite
2. Portfolio Management

Assist clients in building diversified portfolios using mutual funds, stocks, bonds, SIPs, and other instruments

Monitor portfolio performance and suggest changes based on market trends and client life changes

Conduct periodic reviews with clients to evaluate progress toward financial goals
3. Product Advisory & Sales

Educate clients about available financial products such as:

Life and Health Insurance Plans
-
Mutual Funds and SIPs
-
Retirement & Pension Plans
-
Fixed Deposits, Bonds, ULIPs, Tax-saving instruments

Help clients complete documentation and compliance formalities for purchasing these products

Stay updated with regulatory changes, market developments, and new product launches
4. Customer Relationship Management

Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through follow-ups, birthday greetings, annual reviews, etc.

Provide exceptional customer service, respond promptly to inquiries, and resolve issues

Use CRM software or Excel to track interactions, investments, renewals, and commissions
5. Reporting & Documentation
-
Maintain accurate records of client meetings, proposals, financial plans, and documentation
-
Prepare and present performance reports or summaries as needed

Ensure compliance with company and government regulations (e.g., KYC, AML, IRDA/SEBI guidelines)
Required Skills and Competencies:
