Job Description
Introduction
We are seeking a passionate and creative Fine Art Teacher to join our institution. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in visual arts, painting, drawing, sculpture, and other art forms, along with the ability to inspire and guide students in developing their artistic skills. You will play a key role in fostering creativity, encouraging self-expression, and helping students explore different mediums and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Classroom Management

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging art lessons aligned with the curriculum.

Teach various techniques, including drawing, painting, sketching, shading, sculpting, and mixed media.

Encourage students to experiment with different art forms and develop their unique styles.

Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
2. Curriculum Development

Design and develop lesson plans, projects, and workshops for different grade levels.

Integrate modern art techniques and emerging trends into the curriculum.

Collaborate with the academic team to ensure art education complements other subjects.
3. Student Assessment & Progress Tracking

Evaluate students’ work based on creativity, skill development, and effort.

Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their artistic abilities.

Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
4. Creative Activities & Events

Organize art exhibitions, competitions, and workshops to showcase students’ talent.

Coordinate with school management to arrange art-related events and cultural programs.

Inspire students to participate in inter-school, national, or international art contests.
5. Resource & Material Management

Ensure proper use of art supplies, tools, and materials.

Maintain an inventory of classroom resources and request replenishments when needed.

Introduce students to a variety of mediums, including watercolors, oils, acrylics, clay, and digital art tools.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills

Expertise in drawing, sketching, painting, sculpting, and other visual art techniques.

Knowledge of art history, contemporary art, and design principles.

Familiarity with digital art tools and basic graphic designing is an added advantage.
