At Blue Fence Systems, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced fire protection Design engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should strong background in fire safety design.

JOB DUTIES

• Design fire protection systems for new and existing buildings, in compliance with local fire codes and regulations
• Prepare cost estimates for proposed fire protection system designs. Assist in the development of building code requirements related to fire protection
• Design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to: Location Plans, Connection Diagrams, Conduit / Block Diagrams, Logic Diagrams, Panel Detail Drawings, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, and Battery Loading Calculations in accordance with national consensus codes and standards.
• Provide technical support to site construction forces, start-up & testing, suppliers or subcontract personnel.
• creating new autocad drawings from hand drawings and concept ideas’ design drawings in fire protection system and modify in accordance with engineer mark up and specifications on existing drawings
• command over hydrelic calculations, coordination with project team, consultants and clients
• Prepare Data Sheets, Statements of Work, Procurement Specifications, Design Build Specifications, and Purchase Requisitions.
