Job Description
Fire Watcher Duties
-
Monitor hot work activities such as welding, grinding, and cutting to prevent fire outbreaks.
-
Ensure all combustible and flammable materials are cleared or adequately shielded.
-
Maintain continuous observation of the work area for sparks, flames, or smoke.
-
Be equipped with fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and other emergency response tools.
-
Raise immediate alarms in case of fire and assist in evacuation.
-
Remain at the work site for a designated period after hot work is completed to monitor for hidden sparks or delayed fires.
