Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Fitness Trainer with expertise in Boxing, Wrestling, Physiotherapy, and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). This unique role requires a dynamic individual who can train clients in combat sports, provide functional fitness training, and also guide them through safe rehabilitation and physiotherapy practices. The ideal candidate should be disciplined, energetic, motivational, and committed to helping individuals achieve their physical goals while maintaining overall wellness.
The trainer will work closely with athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and beginners, providing tailored programs that include strength, conditioning, skill training, recovery techniques, and injury prevention.
Key Responsibilities

Training & Instruction
-
Conduct personalized and group training sessions in Boxing, Wrestling, and MMA techniques.

Teach proper warm-up, cool-down, and stretching exercises.

Develop skill-specific drills to improve agility, endurance, and combat efficiency.

Monitor performance and provide corrective feedback for technique improvement.

Fitness & Conditioning

Design strength, conditioning, and cardio training programs suitable for all fitness levels.

Improve client stamina, flexibility, and muscle endurance.

Ensure balance between combat skill development and overall body fitness.

Incorporate functional training, HIIT, and circuit training methods.

Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation

Assess and evaluate clients’ physical health, posture, and injury history.

Guide clients through rehabilitation exercises for sports-related injuries.

Provide physiotherapy support to prevent re-injury and aid recovery.

Educate clients on correct body mechanics and ergonomics.

Client Management & Motivation

Build strong rapport with clients and motivate them to stay consistent.

Customize fitness plans according to individual goals (weight loss, strength gain, skill development, recovery).

Track progress and adjust training plans as needed.

Promote discipline, sportsmanship, and mental well-being.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure a safe training environment by enforcing gym safety rules.

Monitor client performance to prevent injuries.

Provide first-aid support in case of minor injuries.

Stay updated with the latest physiotherapy and fitness techniques.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of training area and equipment.

Collaborate with other trainers, physiotherapists, and management.

Participate in fitness workshops, competitions, or events to represent the organization.
Required Skills
Technical Skills

Proficiency in Boxing, Wrestling, and MMA techniques (striking, grappling, submission holds, sparring drills).

Knowledge of sports science, kinesiology, and physiotherapy exercises.

Ability to create effective training and rehabilitation programs.

Familiarity with training equipment (punching bags, mitts, weights, mats, resistance bands).

CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).

Eligibility Criteria

Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Physiotherapy, or related fields preferred.

Certified training in Boxing, MMA, Wrestling, or Martial Arts from a recognized body is highly desirable.

Experience:

Freshers with strong skills in martial arts/fitness training may apply.

Prior experience in fitness coaching, combat sports training, or physiotherapy practice will be an added advantage.
