Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Pickup and Delivery

Pick up prepared food orders from our outlet as assigned.

Verify that orders are complete, accurate, and securely packaged before leaving the outlet.

Deliver food orders to customers within the assigned time frame, ensuring the food arrives hot, fresh, and undamaged.
2. Customer Service
-
Interact courteously and professionally with customers upon delivery.

Handle basic customer queries or concerns politely and refer complex issues to the outlet manager or support team.

Ensure a positive customer experience during every delivery, even in high-pressure or delayed situations.
3. Navigation and Route Planning
-
Use navigation tools or delivery apps (e.g., Google Maps) to follow the most efficient routes and avoid delays.

Adjust routes as necessary based on traffic, weather, or delivery urgency.

Maintain knowledge of local delivery areas and short-cuts to improve efficiency.
4. Timeliness and Reliability
-
Arrive on time for shifts and maintain punctuality in picking up and delivering orders.

Adhere to delivery timeframes and communicate proactively with the outlet or customer in case of delays.
5. Safety and Hygiene
-
Handle all food packages with care, maintaining hygiene standards during pick-up and delivery.

Wear appropriate uniform and protective gear (e.g., gloves, masks, helmets) as per safety policies.

Keep the delivery vehicle (bike, scooter, or car) clean and in good working condition.
6. Payment Handling (If Applicable)

Collect cash payments from customers when required and hand them over to the outlet at the end of the shift.

Provide accurate change and receipts, and maintain records of transactions as needed.
7. Communication and Reporting

Stay in touch with the outlet or delivery coordinator throughout the shift using phone, messaging apps, or delivery software.

Report any incidents, delays, accidents, or customer complaints promptly.

Provide daily reports/logs of completed deliveries if required.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:

No formal education required; high school diploma or equivalent is a plus.

Prior experience in delivery, courier services, or logistics is an advantage but not mandatory.

Familiarity with the local area and good sense of direction.
Skills and Competencies:

Basic knowledge of using smartphones, navigation apps, and communication tools.

Good time-management and organizational skills.

Polite, respectful, and customer-oriented behavior.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deliveries in a timely manner.

Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, and drive/rides for long periods.

Capable of lifting packages of up to 10-15 kg if required.

Comfortable working in all weather conditions (sun, rain, cold, etc.).
License and Vehicle (If applicable):

Valid driver’s license (for two-wheeler or four-wheeler, as required).

Own vehicle in good condition with necessary documentation (insurance, registration).
