Job Description for Seed Technology: Basic Qualification: M. Sc. Seed Science and Technology 

Purpose Of The Position

Manage seed laboratory, monitor all aspects of seed analysing procedures, make certain lab is always maintained in an organized, clean and safe manner.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following

• Conduct germination testing following AOSA and UPL Limited protocols for all tests.
• Sould have sound knowledge of seed science-seed vigour, seed viability, seeb born disease and pest management.
• should be capable to design experiment independently and in coordination with team
• should take lead to desing experiment in an innovative way of seed treatment and seed pelleting concept
• should be capable to analyze data (statistical analysis) and take decision based on data.
  
  • Preparation of media (paper towel, blotters, soil, etc.).
  • Conduct seed treatment as per management guidelines and germination test, product efficacy test and seed safety test.
  • Record and evaluate the performance of seedlings.
  • Make report as per the objective of the project.
• Understand workload priority
• Ensure that scheduled tasks are completed
• Cross-train in conducting germination test and reports.

Education And/or Experience

• M.Sc. Seed Science & Technology.
• One-year experience in seed testing lab or fresher also can apply.
