Job Description:
- To plan and document balanced, nutritious and healthy meals for all indoor patients as per their medical requirements
- To motivate and involve patients in the planning of diet for better acceptability
- To take detailed rounds of different wards in order to plan diet individually as per patient condition.
- To evaluate dietary intake of patients and do required nutrient analysis for doctors reference.
- To organize diet counseling of the indoor patients and their attendants for healthy eating on the basis of their medical background.
- To coordinate with the doctors for patients diet
- To prepare diet charts of walk ins, follow-ups, referral cases and executives in OPD.
- To do constant follow up with the nurses for patients diet.
- To co-ordinate with the F&B department to ensure that meals served to the patients are according to their profile.
- To Supervise major meal services of patients
- To taste patients meals and suggest modifications if required before service.
- To maintain logbook for interdepartmental communication
- Any other task assigned by the HOD and the management
