We are looking for an experienced freelance React Native developer to help us identify and resolve a crash bug in our in-development social networking mobile app. The app is currently in testing stages and occasionally crashes under specific user actions or conditions. We need someone who can dive into the existing codebase, reproduce the issue, and deliver a clean, efficient fix without introducing regressions.
This is a short-term freelance opportunity, but depending on the outcome, there is potential for ongoing collaboration as we prepare for launch and future updates.
Responsibilities:

Analyze and debug the crash reports or app logs to identify the root cause of the crash.

Reproduce the crash locally (or with help from QA/testers) and confirm conditions that trigger it.

Propose and implement a clean, reliable fix for the crash.

Test across both Android and iOS to ensure stability and no new issues.

Provide a clear summary of the problem, the solution, and any recommendations for prevention.

Collaborate with our small development team for code review and integration.
Requirements:

Proven experience in React Native development (3+ years).

Strong debugging skills and familiarity with tools like Flipper, Chrome DevTools, and React Native Debugger.

Experience using crash reporting tools such as Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics, or BugSnag.

Proficiency in both Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) native modules is a strong plus.

Familiarity with common social app features like real-time chat, feeds, notifications, and media upload is a bonus.
