•  The major responsibility that a French teacher is required to undertake is the responsibility of providing appropriate instructions to the students that will help them to attain competency in the French language as per their grade level
  
• She/he holds the responsibility of teaching various tiers of the French language such as French tier I, French tier II, French tier III, and French tier IV.
•  She/he is also required to teach another branch of the French language, i.e. the AP French language
• When teaching the students belonging to the first grade level, She/he is needed to inculcate motivational, academic, cultural, and societal skilfulness in them
• She/he is required to organize the teaching sessions in the French so that the students become well acquainted with the French language
• She/he is expected to assign some educational tasks and projects to the students that will assist the students to get a hang of the language. 
• She/he is also required to attend the oral presentations given by the students and provide appropriate feedback on the same. 
• She/he makes sure that the students complete their assignments and projects within the time frame given by her
• She/he looks after the overall organization of the examinations and class tests that are conducted for the students. 
• She/he is needed to set up and manage the examinations and ensure that they are conducted in an ideal manner.
•  She/he also holds the responsibility of making arrangements for the examinations and makes sure that the students are provided with every facility needed during that time
• After the examinations are over, she/he is required to perform another task of correcting the test papers and answer She/heats of the students in an accurate manner. 
• She/he may even require to double check the test papers and make sure that the marks allotted for each student are genuine and appropriate. 
• She/he is needed to correct the answer papers keeping in view the regulations and policies set up by the management committee of the school or educational institution

Skill Set & Requirement – 

• With a view to acquire a job as a French teacher, the candidate should be a graduate in the arts stream with French as a specialization subject. 
• The candidates who possess a post graduate degree have better prospects of winning the job as such candidates are mostly desired by the employers
  
• The candidate should be well acquainted with the French philosophy and culture and should be able to explain the same to the students in an effective way
• She must be proficient in depicting first-class communication and interpersonal capabilities
• She should have the knowledge of psychological perspective of the students. This is very important to get to know about the grasping power and learning abilities of the students
• She should possess the standard etiquette and decency that will portray a good example before the students and eventually develop them as modest individuals

Qualifications and Skills

• Qualification – Graduate in the arts stream with French as a specialization subject
