Fresher Mechanical Engineer
Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design & Drafting Support:

Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.).

Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and layouts as directed by senior engineers.

Modify and update designs based on feedback or design changes.
2. Engineering Calculations:
-
Perform basic engineering calculations such as stress analysis, thermal analysis, and load calculations.

Support in selecting materials, components, and tools for various mechanical applications.
3. Product Development:
-
Contribute to product prototyping, testing, and quality checks.

Assist in preparing test procedures and data collection.

Help document findings and propose improvements.
4. Manufacturing & Production Support:
-
Coordinate with the production team for process improvements and machine performance.

Help monitor machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure proper operation.

Participate in shop floor activities including installation, testing, and commissioning.
5. Project & Documentation Assistance:
-
Support project documentation, including technical reports, design specifications, and assembly instructions.

Maintain proper records of all project phases under supervision.

Assist in creating Bill of Materials (BOMs), technical datasheets, and manuals.
6. Quality & Safety:

Assist in quality control checks, inspections, and audits.

Understand and follow company safety protocols, especially when working on machinery or in production areas.
7. Learning & Development:

Attend technical training sessions, internal workshops, or field visits to gain practical exposure.

Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, tools, and engineering methods.
