Job Title: Fresher Recruiter - Wind Turbine Sector

Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Fresher Recruiter to join our Human Resources team in the Wind Turbine and Renewable Energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is eager to build a career in technical and engineering recruitment, especially within the growing clean energy industry.

As a Fresher Recruiter, you will assist in identifying, attracting, and onboarding candidates for roles such as wind turbine technicians, electrical engineers, site supervisors, safety officers, and project support staff. You will learn the full recruitment cycle and gain exposure to specialized talent acquisition processes in a green energy organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing and Screening Candidates:

  • Assist in sourcing qualified candidates through job portals, social media platforms, college placement cells, internal databases, and referrals.

  • Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates based on job descriptions and role requirements.

  • Conduct initial screening calls or video interviews to assess candidates’ communication, education, and technical background.

  • Maintain a pool of pre-screened candidates for ongoing and future hiring needs.

2. Job Posting and Promotion:

  • Draft and post job openings on various platforms including Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, and internal career pages.

  • Promote job opportunities to attract relevant profiles, especially from engineering colleges, ITIs, or renewable energy training institutes.

  • Coordinate with marketing or branding teams to develop hiring-related content, graphics, and banners.

3. Coordination and Scheduling:

  • Coordinate interview schedules between shortlisted candidates and technical or HR panel members.

  • Send interview reminders and follow-ups to both candidates and interviewers.

  • Arrange logistics for in-person interviews, online assessments, or site visits when applicable.

4. Candidate Engagement and Communication:

  • Act as a point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.

  • Communicate feedback (shortlisting, selection, or rejection) in a timely and professional manner.

  • Answer basic queries regarding job roles, work locations, benefits, or company policies.

  • Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience during the entire recruitment cycle.

5. Database Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain an organized and updated record of applicants, interviews, and hiring status using Excel sheets, ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), or recruitment software.

  • Assist in preparing recruitment dashboards, reports, and weekly hiring status updates for the HR manager.

  • Archive resumes and track follow-ups or pipeline candidates for future requirements.

6. Onboarding and Documentation Support:

  • Help selected candidates with documentation such as offer letter acceptance, ID proofs, educational certificates, and joining forms.

  • Assist in organizing pre-joining formalities like background verification, medical checks, and induction materials.

  • Support new hires during the onboarding process, particularly those joining field roles or remote wind farm sites.

7. Campus and Bulk Hiring Support:

  • Participate in mass recruitment drives, walk-in interviews, or campus placement events in coordination with the HR team.

  • Represent the company professionally during college recruitment or trade school visits.

  • Collect candidate data and feedback from events for follow-up.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to speak clearly and confidently with candidates and team members.

  • Organizational Skills: Manage multiple candidates, interview schedules, and follow-ups without errors.

  • Basic Technical Understanding: Willingness to learn job roles specific to wind energy such as turbine technicians, electrical engineers, and site supervisors.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, email, and online recruitment tools.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Positive, polite, and respectful behavior while interacting with candidates from different backgrounds.
