Job Description
- First point of contact in the hotel
- Represent the hotel to the guests through all stages of a guests stay
- Handling and managing the guests requests from check in to check out
- Communicate effectively with guests and other departments of hotel especially house keeping team
- Handle guests and the rooms and maintain records
- Understands rooms, room status, room locations
- Accommodate guest requests
- Communicating with other hotel departments on the status of guest rooms
- Works closely with the housekeeping department in the keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work.
- Promote hotel and Up sell rooms whenever possible
- Handling cash payments, invoicing, posting
- Maintain a clean front desk area
