Job Description for Front-End Architect at Resilinc
Position Overview
Architect is technology leadership position where a person needs to understand existing product, come-up with design improvements and implement it through projects & programs. This is a hands-on designer & developer position where a person will architect the next generation of our SaaS product.
This position is based in Pune and reports to the Director of Development.
Primary Responsibilities§ Provide design as well as code guidance to the developers
§ Propose new technologies and implement PoC
§ Identify performance & scalability challenges and provide a technical solution
§ Code the critical product pieces yourself and set the example for other developers
§ Advocate usage of new open-source tools/frameworks and percolate the knowledge to the engineering team
Education –§ BE/BTECH only – Computers background preferred.
Required Skills§ 10+ years of software engineering experience in web technologies, with the most recent 5+ years in architecting & designing the products.
§ Technical skills: ReactJS, Angular, Open source UI tools & frameworks.
§ High energy and motivation.
§ Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching & collaborating.
§ Excellent oral & written communication and presentation skills, and experience interacting with all levels including the Executive level.
§ Experience with Agile development methodology.
§ Should be aware of application security guidelines.
TravelOccasional travel to the US may be required.
