Job Summary:
The Front Office Receptionist at an education center plays a crucial role in the day-to-day functioning of the institution by being the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors, and staff. This role involves managing front desk activities such as greeting guests, answering inquiries, handling phone calls, maintaining records, and supporting administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Visitor Management:

Greet students, parents, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.

Guide walk-in inquiries to the appropriate staff or department.

Maintain a visitor register and issue visitor badges (if applicable).
2. Telephone and Communication Handling:

Answer incoming calls, respond to basic inquiries, and transfer calls to relevant departments.

Make outbound calls to parents or students as required for follow-ups or confirmations.

Take accurate messages and deliver them promptly to the concerned person.
3. Student Inquiry and Admission Support:

Provide initial information about courses, admission procedures, fee structure, and timings.

Hand over brochures, admission forms, or other marketing material to potential students.

Coordinate with the counselling or admissions team to schedule appointments.
4. Front Desk Administration:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and front office area.

Handle incoming and outgoing mail or courier packages.

Monitor the use of office supplies and notify the admin department when replenishment is needed.
5. Data Entry and Record-Keeping:

Maintain up-to-date records of student inquiries, walk-ins, and daily attendance (if assigned).

Assist with filing, documentation, and data entry related to student registration and correspondence.

Prepare reports or summaries for management as requested.
6. Fee and Payment Assistance (If Applicable):

Guide students/parents on where and how to make payments.

Issue receipts or direct them to the accounts department.

Maintain a record of payment queries or follow-up reminders (if part of job scope).
7. Coordination and Internal Support:

Assist teaching or administrative staff with scheduling classrooms, appointments, or events.

Inform staff of any changes in student schedules or upcoming meetings.
