We are looking for a seasoned full-stack engineer to build out and manage our entire web infrastructure. Successful candidates will have a minimum of five years’ recent experience with all of the skills listed below. Our project entails implementing UI, constructing APIs, connecting the two, and setting up our server infrastructure. This includes all associated areas such as database and architecture design.
Responsibilities
· Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
· Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
· Write effective APIs
· Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
· Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
· Create security and data protection settings
· Work with data scientists and analysts to improve UI experience
Skills
· At least five years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
· Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
· Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Python/Java) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
· Familiarity with databases (e.g. Exadata, MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
· Server management and deployment for the relevant environment
- Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
- Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
- Previous experience of developing UI application using Angular/React and have developed APis for integration with big data tech stack - Kafka, Apache Livy, Spark, Mongo DB is plus.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
