WordPress Developer
As a WordPress developer, you will be responsible for both backend and frontend development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.

Responsibilities and Duties :
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Creating an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code.
- Help maintain code quality by doing peer code review.
- Build API's and plugins which will communicate with backend services
- Should be able to execute assigned tasks in a timely & efficient manner.
- Collaborate with clients and digital marketing team to implement technical requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in related field.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications, designing and developing responsive design websites.
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
- Able to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Strong knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}} and PHP back-end development.
- Strong attention to detail and deliver work of high standard.
- Strong team player with a start-up environment
Skillset and Technologies :
- Experience in using and developing on Wordpress
- Should have knowledge of Javascript, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, PHP, MySQL and AJAX.
- Experience in creating custom Wordpress templates.
- Strong experience in integrating third-party APIs and services.
- Ability to work in an Agile /SCRUM environment.
- Well organized with a bias for action with minimal direction.
- Ravenous about learning technology and problem-solving.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the latest web technologies and frameworks.
