Job Description
Exclusive opportunity to work closely with our Senior Engineers (who've worked at top companies like Facebook, Google, Amazon, Salesforce, etc) to build out core features on our e-learning marketplace. This is a remote position with a US-based company.
We have a fairly large web application built already and are close to launching our beta.
We mentor and provide support, but we don't hand hold. You'll be working on mission-critical features from day 1 that'll be used in our production codebase. You'll have a high level of autonomy in making product decisions and architecting complex engineering tasks.
The pay for this position typically varies by experience and region. You should expect to work variable weeks ranging 30+ hours.
Requirements:
- Experience with React 16.8+ & React Hooks- Amazing HTML & CSS skills, with responsive CSS experience
- Proficient in Typescript/Javascript- Solid portfolio of web apps you've contributed to
- Proficient in using NodeJS & Express to build REST APIs
- Solid understanding of web app architecture
- Solid understanding of REST API, CRUD design methodology, and HTTP
- UI/UX design skills is a plus
- Experience with Mocha & testing frameworks is a plus
- Strong product thinking skills is a plus
- Positive mindset and good team working skills
