Job Description
Job Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
Experience & skills required:
- Cold calling, fixing appointment and meeting the donors.
- Giving presentation about organisation and its vision and mission and fundraising
- Concept selling.
- Generate new donors by conducting various events and promotional activities like (Direct Marketing - involves, emails, brochures to individual target clients, often followed by personal selling or telemarketing and cold calling).
- Acquisition of new donors for revenue generation, retaining, and upselling to the existing donors.
Your work comprises: New donor acquisition, Branding, upselling, etc., Wherein we will be training in the aspect of Branding , Communication & Donor Relation and Involve holistic approach towards
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Proficient in Local Language (TAMIL)
- Good English communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Competitive and enthusiastic personality with negotiation skills
- Flexibility and willingness to learn in a high pressure environment
- TWO WHEELER IS MANDATORY

The Akshaya Patra Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation headquartered in Bengaluru, India. Our organisation strives to eliminate classroom hunger by implementing the Mid-Day Meal Scheme in the government schools and government-aided schools. Alongside, Akshaya Patra also aims at countering malnutrition and supporting the right to education of socio-economically disadvantaged children.
Our partnership with the Government of India and various State Governments, along with the persistent support from corporates, individual donors, and well-wishers have helped us to grow from serving just 1,500 children in 5 schools in 2000 to serving 1.6 million children in 13,839 schools.
Today, Akshaya Patra is the worlds largest (not-for-profit run) Mid-Day Meal Programme serving wholesome food every school day to over 1.6 million children from 13,839 schools across 12 states in India.
