Job Description
- To be responsible for resource mobilization, and achieve time limited fundraising targets agreed in consultation with the manager.
- To raise funds from Government, Trusts, Foundations, Corporates, Clubs, Schools, Institutions, individuals with priorities.
- Support in the development of proposals to internationals funders/ Governments. Update the donors and stakeholders database.
- To assist in developing a three year plan of action along with budgets for the Communication & Resource Mobilization unit in line with organization’s strategic plan.
- To organize events and campaigns for raising funds & promotion of MI.
- To assist in developing media contacts and publicize the work of MI.
- To ensure timely update information is sent to the stakeholders on the utilization of the funds.
- Develop publicity materials for awareness of fundraising.
- Develop regular quarterly Newsletters, Annual reports, Appeal Case studies and share with Funders, Supporters, Clients, and Partners etc.
- Seek new appropriate contacts and partnership with corporates, organizations, individuals etc.
