Job Description
Job Summary:
- As a Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure financial support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other donors. Your primary goal will be to raise funds to support the organization's mission and programs, ensuring sustainability and growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute annual fundraising plans and strategies in collaboration with senior leadership to achieve fundraising goals.
2. Identify and research potential donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies, and develop tailored cultivation and solicitation strategies for each prospect.
3. Plan and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives to engage donors and increase revenue.
4. Manage donor databases and ensure accurate and timely recording of donor interactions, contributions, and pledges.
5. Stay informed about trends and best practices in fundraising, philanthropy, and nonprofit management, and apply relevant knowledge to improve fundraising strategies and outcomes.
Requirements:
1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively engage donors, volunteers, and staff.
2. Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and persuasive fundraising materials.
3. Knowledge of fundraising ethics, regulations, and best practices.
4. Commitment to the organization's mission and values.
5. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and donor meetings.
