Job Description
Knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel/Word/PPT)
Sales Experience of Furniture / Interiors to show around Customers and make Quotations / Invoices
Professional, proactive & people-friendly attitude
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement and Sales

Greet customers warmly as they enter the showroom and assist them throughout their visit.

Engage with clients to understand their furniture requirements, budget, preferences, and space dimensions.

Recommend suitable products based on customer needs and explain features, materials, pricing, and care instructions.

Actively promote ongoing offers, new arrivals, and product bundles to drive upselling and cross-selling.

Guide customers through the complete buying process, from selection to billing.
2. Product Knowledge and Presentation

Maintain a thorough understanding of the full product range, including sofas, beds, dining tables, wardrobes, chairs, and custom-designed furniture.

Stay updated on latest design trends, materials, colors, and space-saving solutions.

Confidently explain the benefits and quality of furniture materials such as wood, leather, fabric, metal, etc.

Help clients visualize how products will fit in their space by using lookbooks, catalogs, or in-store displays.
3. Order Processing and Documentation

Accurately prepare sales invoices, order forms, and delivery instructions.

Ensure all customer information is captured correctly for future reference and follow-up.

Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse team to confirm product availability and delivery schedules.

Process payments via POS systems, provide receipts, and address billing-related queries.
4. Post-Sale Service and Customer Support

Follow up with customers after purchase to confirm delivery satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns.

Handle customer complaints or returns courteously in accordance with store policies.

Maintain long-term relationships with repeat customers and inform them of new arrivals or upcoming promotions.
5. Showroom Maintenance and Visual Merchandising

Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.

Regularly update product tags, displays, and signage to reflect accurate prices and stock availability.

Assist in the setup and rearrangement of displays to showcase seasonal items and bestsellers.

Report any damaged or defective products to the manager for quick resolution.
6. Team Collaboration and Reporting

Work closely with colleagues, designers, and showroom managers to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Attend regular product training sessions and team briefings.

Submit daily or weekly sales reports, customer feedback, and stock requests.

Participate in showroom events, clearance sales, and promotional campaigns.
