Job Description
We are a business being incubated in Bangalore (yet to be named):- incubated by 4 Professionals from the apparel, FMCG and retail industry with over 20 years of experience each.
The positioning of the brand which is under incubation is Premium and can be explained as such : With a growing awareness about
sustainability in the mind of the Responsible Young Indian, there is an opportunity to create and offer a range
of customized, made to order, made to fit, value-added products and services that lie in the intersection of hand made, handcrafted and sustainable fashion, wherein the artisan making handloom, handicraft and sustainable fashion are
interlinked.
Products planned to be offered will have some aspect of traditional Indian handcraft and
its contemporary application/interpretation.
The
designs shall be unique, contemporary and will have clean lines.
This
interpretation while being salient in the Domestic market shall be having a global appeal.
The choice of craft
to be adapted in the collection will be inspired by the Handicrafts of India.
Fits
shall have a relaxed look and shall be customized and made to order.
The categories planned are Tops and Bottoms, for men and women, the contemporary ensemble looks with saris, dupattas and stoles.
We will gradually expand to cover men, children and home thereby offering a comprehensive and unique lifestyle If you are passionate about sustainability and hand made in India and want to work with a group of driven and passionate people, do apply to us.
Ability to generate creative ideas, create a design brief and convert that into technical specs is required.
Initially, the opportunity is for an internship and with time other modes of employment will be explored.
